Service Alert: Metrics Processing in Tasktop Viz

05/03 Update: On April 12, 2022, the Viz team performed a migration of aggregated Flow Metrics data to improve overall reprocessing time performance.

While this migration was completed successfully, it was discovered that product value streams that had not been reprocessed within the 7 days prior to the migration or at any time afterwards were not automatically computing updated metrics.

To resolve this issue, we are running an automated reprocessing on all affected product value streams and have increased the resources available to our services to minimize resolution time. In addition, we have implemented a separate processing queue for customers who have already been reprocessed so they can continue to use the system normally while reprocessing for other customers is underway. The current estimate is that all product value streams will be reprocessed within the next 2 weeks.

It is important to note that data collection has remained unaffected. This means that once a product value stream has been reprocessed, all Flow Metrics will be current and include any artifacts and state changes that have occurred and were captured as part of the routine change detection process.

Viz is currently experiencing an issue with metrics processing. As a result, you may notice that some of your product value streams are missing Flow Metrics after April 12th, 2022. This is only an issue with displaying Flow Metrics, all underlying data is intact.

Our team is working hard to resolve this issue. Once resolved, all metrics for the missing days will appear and Viz performance will return to normal.


No action is required from our customers with regard to this issue.
